It’s not difficult to find a fun event going on in the Clinton and Knoxville TN area at any point throughout the year, but the 2016 Clinch River Fall Antiques Festival in Clinton TN happens to be one of our all-time favorites. This annual event occurs the second weekend every October, meaning that the fun starts on Friday, October 7 at the kick-off party and continues on October 8.
What is there to do at the 2016 Clinch River Fall Antique Festival?
So what is the annual Clinch River Fall Antique Festival all about? The Kick-off party will start at 6 p.m. and go through 9 p.m. and will offer entertainment from live bands, a variety of food options, and access to various antique shops. The second annual Cruze-In will also happen Friday night at the Historic Downtown Clinton Parking lot. All cars must be in place by 5:30 p.m., though access for the public will start at 6 p.m. with the rest of the party.
Then, Saturday will be the full event that has been going on for almost two decades — and you should expect it to be the biggest one yet! The fun starts at 9 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m.There will be more than 90 antique dealers, two different food courts, multiple bands (playing at Hoskins Park), a selection of antique cars on display and more. There will even be a fun children’s area complete with a bounce house. You can also witness the live reenactment of the 1804 duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton — and learn about how it ties into our town’s history.
