Father’s Day is always a special time of the year, as it presents a wonderful opportunity to get the whole family together and celebrate dad. It also happens to be coming up quick, so if you’re still looking for 2016 Father’s Day Events in Clinton TN, then we have some suggestions for what you can do!
Fox Toyota Car Show and Cruise in 2016
Fox Toyota will be hosting the second annual All Class Car Show and Cruise In on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 10am to noon. Imports, Tuners, Classics, Hot Rods, Antiques, and Trucks are welcome and expected at the Car Show. Golf outing on Father’s Day in Clinton TN
Going out to one of the local courses is a great way to spend some time, especially if one of the fathers that you are celebrating has a love for it. Even if some people in your group aren’t the best golfers, it doesn’t mean that you can hit up the Tennessee Tee Golf and practice at the driving range! If you want to do the full course, then Tennessee Centennial Golf Course in Oak Ridge is a fun destination — and if you celebrate a couple of days early you could participate in their Night Golf event, which involves 9 holes walking, a glow ball, and two drink tickets.
A sushi making class isn’t going to be for everyone, but the Sushi Academy in TN is holding a Father’s Day class on June 19, 2016 from 11am to 1pm. The course will go through how to make sushi rice, what ingredients are found in sushi, how to make the rolls, decoration, learning chopsticks, and just general facts on Japanese food and culture. Reservations are required for the Father’s Day event, and it looks like spots could fill up soon. You can make reservations here.
Knoxville Food Tour on Father’s Day
What better way is there to treat dad than to take him on a Food Tour in Knoxville for Father’s Day 2016? Not only will he not have to cook, he will also have a blast sampling some of the best food in Knoxville! There are three different downtown tours — a morning, afternoon, and evening — that start at 9:30am, 2:30pm, and 6:30pm. Each tour will take you to a few different restaurants over the course of 2.5 hours. More info and reservations can be found here.
