2016 Festival on the 4th in Knoxville TN
When: July 4, 2016 from 4 pm to 10 pm
Where: World’s Fair Park
It’s hard to think of a better way to spend your time with the family on the 4th of July than attending the Festival on the 4th in Knoxville. This free event will be running from 4 pm to 10 pm — where it will conclude with a fireworks display to commemorate the Fourth of July. Throughout the day you can attend different music shows, enjoy some good food, and find lots of other fun things to do. There is even a Lego building activity for kids! The event will go on, rain or shine.
Independence Day Parade 2016 near Knoxville TN
When: July 4, 2016 at 9:30 am
Where: Farragut, TN
Not only does the Knoxville area host what is one of the best Fourth of July festivals around, we also have a great parade in the area. You can find the Independence Day parade in Farragut, TN going down Kingston Pike. The parade features a Grand Marshal, local High School band, floats, dancers, animals, antique cars (one of our favorite parts!), and more. The Parade starts at 9:30 am and goes down Kingston Pike from Concord Road to Boring Road.
Fourth of July Events in Clinton TN
When: July 4, 2016 from 9am to 6 pm
Where: Museum of Appalachia in Clinton, TN
There is quite a bit going on in the Knoxville area, and that includes just down the road in Clinton, TN — the home of Fox Toyota. The Museum of Appalachia is home to the Independence Day Celebration and Anvil shoot. Some have claimed to hear the blast from the anvil 15 miles away, and it certainly is an experience to be present when it happens. Anvil shoots will occur at 10 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. The museum will be open from 9 am to 6 pm, so there is plenty of time for you to tour the historic village and learn about history.

Fire on the Water 2016 — Come see what is the largest privately owned 4th of July Fireworks show in the entire state of Tennessee! There will be plenty of food and fun when you come to Norris Lake at Sequoyah Marina for the show. The Event is on June 2, 2016 and starts at dark.
Fourth of July Firework show in Clinton — Food vendors, live music, antique cars and plenty of fun activities can be found at the Clinton TN Fourth of July event. Kids can enjoy the 68 foot obstacle course, the 22 foot Tsunami water slide, and even a free round of laser tag. The event starts at 5 pm in Lakefront Park on July 4, with a firework show beginning at 10 pm.
Oak Ridge Independence Day Concert and Firework Show — The Community Band of Oak Ridge will put on a concert on July 4, 2016, which will then be directly followed by a firework display. The concert will begin at 7 pm and the firework show is planned to start around 9:45 pm. Both can be found in A.K. Bissell Park, and lawn chairs and blankets are highly recommended.
