Welcome to the second installment of the Fox Toyota winter car care series! If you have been following along, then you should have already read (and hopefully implemented) our post on fixing existing car problems. If you haven’t read that post, best to read it first and then come back on over for part 2. Like we said in the previous post, if you follow along with this series, and make the suggested updates, then your car will be ready for winter in no time. Next up – wiper blades! The Fox Toyota Service Center offers windshield wiper replacement, and we recommend you get them changed out before winter if they are worn down. Find out if your blades are in need of a switch below.
Fox Toyota Service Center Offers Windshield Wiper Replacement
When you have properly installed windshield wipers they should have no trouble sweeping water, snow, and debris from your windshield without leaving streaks behind. If your windshield wipers are not successfully able to do this because of improper installation, worn blades, incorrect sizing, or anything else, it’s time to get them changed.
Can I change my wiper blades at home?
Changing wiper blades at home can seem simple enough. However, many times we see windshield wipers that are not working properly due to poor installation or bad sizing. Genuine Toyota wiper blades are specifically shaped to fit the contours of your Toyota windshield and using anything else could account for those pesky streaks that lead to less visibility. For that reason, we highly suggest getting your windshield wipers replaced at a Toyota service center, like Fox Toyota.
Keep following along on the Fox Toyota blog. Our next installment of the winter car care series, checking existing fluid levels, will be out soon. Until then, make sure to replace those old wiper blades if you need to. You can easily schedule a service appointment online at Fox Toyota.
