Upcoming 5Ks and Races near Knoxville, TN
When: Saturday, September 8th, 2018
Where: Chilhowee Park Fairgrounds – Knoxville
The Cotton Candy Classic takes part inside the fairgrounds to support the Tennessee Valley Fair Foundation and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Serious runners can sign up for the 5K and individuals and kids just wishing for a fun experience at the fair can take part in a 1-mile fun run.
When: Saturday, October 6th, 2018
Where: AMC Classic 16 – Knoxville
This chip-timed course runs throughout the Ten Mile Creek Greenway offering a flat course perfect for kids, strollers, walkers, and serious runners dressed in their favorite superhero attire. Proceeds from the event will support The Dream Connection.
When: Sunday, October 14th, 2018
Where: Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church – Knoxville
Kick off your Oktoberfest festivities by participating in the 19th annual Hops and Hope 5K. The race runs along the 3rd Creek Greenway before finishing with local craft beers and food. Food and beverages will include Highland brews from Ashville, TN and a variety of traditional Oktoberfest dishes. All proceeds will support local Knoxville food pantries.

Where: Frightworks Haunted House – Powell
The family-friendly Dracula 6k will begin at the Frightworks Haunted House and continue through the streets of Powell. A Little Goblin Candy Run is also being held at the haunted house for small kids who will receive trick or treat bags to collect candy. A costume contest will be held after the 6K course.
When: Thursday, November 22nd, 2018
Where: The Mill and Mine – Knoxville
Knoxville’s annual Turkey Trot will once again be held on the morning of Thanksgiving with a beautiful course that spans downtown Knoxville. After the race, participants can partake in race-day activities including award presentations and refreshments at The Mill and Mine event venue.

Where: Knoxville Zoo
Support the St. Jude Foundation and their goal of raising $235,000 by participating in a race around the Knoxville Zoo. Register as an individual or with a team and compete before the race even begins by fundraising the most money before the event! All proceeds will go to support St. Jude in their efforts to end childhood cancer.
