What is the Blind-Spot Monitoring System and how does it work?
How many times have you been driving down the street or highway and had someone enter your blind spot out of the blue? When you go to check your blind spot, you almost miss them and as a result, you almost cause an accident. Thankfully, Toyota has introduced a Blind-Spot Monitoring System. What is the Blind-Spot Monitoring System and how does it work? Check it out below!
How to use the Blind-Spot Monitoring System
The first step is to turn on the system by pushing the button. You will see lights on your mirrors turn on indicating that the system is ready to go. Then, you proceed to your destination.
If the system detects a vehicle in your blind spot, it will turn on a light in that side-view mirror. If you try to change lanes, the light will flash to get your attention and try to prevent you from crashing into that vehicle.
