Before you narrow down your vehicle purchase to a specific make and model, it is important to sit down and create a must-have list of features that you are looking for. That list can help guide you through the overwhelming number of options at the dealership and will help ensure that you don't end up with a model that is lacking something you need. Let's compare two sedan models, the 2018 Toyota Camry and the 2018 Subaru Legacy, to see where each differs in terms of available features.

The 2018 Subaru Legacy stands out thanks to its standard all-wheel drive which is uncommon for this vehicle class. If where you live necessitates all-wheel drive compatibility and you are looking for a sedan, it could be a great choice for you. If, however, you are interested in active safety features, the 2018 Toyota Camry really can't be beat in terms of offerings and value. Active Safety Offerings

In terms of feature offerings, car shoppers should be happy with the options available in both the 2018 Toyota Camry and the 2018 Subaru Legacy. However, active safety is a different story. Like most new Toyota models, the 2018 Camry has the Toyota Safety Sense system of active safety as standard on all trim levels. The Toyota Safety Sense bundle includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. In addition to that, the 2018 Camry also has available Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, and a 360-degree Bird's Eye View camera system on higher trim levels.

The 2018 Subaru Legacy does offer some active safety options but, unfortunately, they are only available on higher trim levels or add-on packages that can significantly up the purchase price of a vehicle. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert come standard on the 2.5i Limited trim and above. Automatic High Beams, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking can all be purchased separately via the EyeSight safety package for Premium trim levels and above.

If active safety is important to you on your new ride, the 2018 Toyota Camry can't be beat in terms of value. Find more information on the 2018 Toyota Camry available in Clinton, Tennessee at Fox Toyota by filling out the form below.
