What are the differences between the L and LE trim on the new Corolla?

The differences between the 2020 Toyota Corolla L and LE trims are subtle, but noticeable if you are a driver who values on-road creature comforts. While both are generously equipped, the LE trim bumps up the comfort and convenience and adds in a few available features for drivers interested in a premium feature or two without going up to a higher-priced trim.

The L trim comes standard with all of the basic gear a new car shopper would expect plus Apple CarPlay compatibility and the value-packed Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 bundle. Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 provides a second set of eyes on the road and includes Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection, Automatic High Beams, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist.

Moving up to the LE trim will give drivers access to a handful of extra features including heated side mirrors, larger wheels, upgraded windshield wipers, automatic climate control, extra cupholders, and a center console with an armrest and cupholders for the back seat. In addition, drivers will have the option of adding on available features like blind spot monitoring, a moonroof, or the Toyota Smart Key System.
